It Looks Like Late March for Miami Events

For years, Ultra Music Festival and Winter Music Conference have teamed up annually to provide electrophiles with an opportunity to indulge in a week of the most epic and important events in electronic music. Typically coinciding during the last week of March, the festival/conference/party co-op has provided an electronica fix for everyone in attendance during one convenient week – providing an opportunity to learn about the industry via panels and seminars during the day (WMC), have your mind blown by that same industry during the parties at night, then close out the weekend with one of the biggest electronic music festival in the world. But as we all know, things are a bit different this year.

With WMC taking place from March 8-12, and Ultra Music Festival running from March 25-27, fans were left with the question, “When should I go to Miami?” Well, it’s safe to say that the final week of March will be business as usual. With the Opium Group ready to announce their dates any day now (rumors pointing to the last week of March), there has been talk in the nightlife scene that nothing will really change the last week of March, other than the fact that the actual Winter Music Conference will not be taking place. Annual parties, such as Sunday School for Degenerates and Juicy Beach, will be taking place during Ultra Week (also being referred to as Miami Music Week and Miami Music Conference), so it’s pretty safe to say that if you’re looking for the same vibe, atmosphere, and energy you’re looking for in March, the last week is the time to check out Miami.
